Java Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Java Developer position to join our client in Overland Park, Kansas.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, development and implementation of Enterprise Java n-tier web applications using cutting edge lightweight Java technologies.
- Work in an agile development environment using Scrum, Extreme programming (XP) and Agile practices likes Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Full life cycle development.
- Assist in new products development and aid in enhancement of existing products.
- Testing of new development.

Job Qualifications:
- Expertise in development and implementing Java applications with standard UI components, integrating modules to Back End over XML, REST, SOAP and JSON.
- Knowledge of Spring frameworks preferred modules (Spring MVC, Spring REST, Spring Batch, Spring Data, and Spring JPA).
- Good understanding of HTML5, Javascript, CSS, XHTML and other web technologies.
- Expertise in writing complex ANSI SQL queries with Oracle, MySQL databases.
- Demonstrated experience in Object Oriented Design and development, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.
- Hadoop knowledge is a plus.
