What you need for this position:
-4+ years of solid Java development experience
-Experience in one of the following big data technologies: Hadoop, MapReduce, HBase, Cassandra or a similar technology
-Experience with Lucene or a similar search engine
-We love engineers that contribute to the open source community through different channels (LinkedIn, Meetups, Github, etc.)
What you'll be doing:
-Working on a small team that consists of data scientists and software engineers to build Back End solutions for high volume data
-Developing new tools to process large amounts of information from scratch on our data platform
-Working on our API platform that allows our clients to deliver scalable API's and applications
