Responsibilities
- Our Senior Software Engineers work on multiple project developing web-based applications using Java and open source technologies (Java, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, SQL, Web Services, Tomcat, Ant).
- Develop and maintain quality code, perform unit testing and fix bugs
- Develop solutions across all layers, from the user interface through the application layer, service layer and data later to the database.
- Design and document solutions, working with team members, product management, and customers
- Research and provide recommendations on technologies
- Drive continuous improvement in our software and development process within an agile team
- Mentors other team members and leads by example
- Enthusiastic in driving process change and improvement

Qualifications
Requirements
- 5+ years of web-based/object-oriented Java development experience
- 3+ years of experience with SQL relational databases
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to adapt well to change and quickly picks up and applies new technologies
- Experience working in an agile development team preferred
