Mechanical Engineer - MEP

Yoh has a direct hire opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer/MEP to join our client in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Responsibilities:
- The Mechanical Engineer/MEP Engineer will be responsible for the design of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems
- The Mechanical Engineer will also be responsible for project management of HVAC design projects, Plumbing design projects and Fire Protection design projects
- Will have interaction with end client/customer and keeping them updated on the status of projects
- Will be performing Plumbing, HVAC and Fire Protection design for commercial structures, multi-family buildings and industrial facilities

Job Qualifications:
- Must have BSME or related Engineering Degree
- PE preferred, but not needed
- Must have plumbing, HVAC fire protection project design experience (healthcare/hospital design is a plus)
- Should have a background performing project management specific to Fire Protection, Plumbing and HVAC design and communicating with the end client/customers
- Should have past experience working in a reputable MEP firm
- Must be able to manage projects from beginning to end
- Must be able to work efficiently by themselves as well as collaborating with other engineering teams

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Revit MEP design experience preferred, but not necessary
