Performance Engineer - Wireless

Yoh has a contract position for a Performance Engineer - Wireless to join our client in Portland, OR.

Job Responsibilities:

- Wireless Performance Engineer will conduct over-the-air testing to measure sensitivity and throughput performance on WiFi/BT/GPS technologies.
- Wireless Performance Engineer will handle vendor communication and engagement.
- Engage with the Engineering teams in and test plan execution.
- Performance Engineer will also capture, analyze data and executing test plans.
- Respond to all system problems, with emphasis on how to duplicate problem encountered during testing.

Job Qualifications:

- Education/experience: MS with three to five (3 - 5) years or BS with ten (10) years' experience in the RF/Antenna/Wireless area.
- Familiar with Antenna testing in anechoic chamber.
- Knowledge of 2G/3G radio and CTIA over the Air (OTA) tests or related experience.
- Experience with RF measurement test equipment like base station emulators, Network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and network tools like iperf.
- Experience with mobile device component and architecture is a plus.
