Senior HR Manager - Talent Management (SMS&P)

We are looking for a Senor HR Manager - Talent Management to help the Small Mid-Market, Solutions and Partner (SMS&P) Group deliver on the outstanding opportunities right in front of us.

SMS&P business represents one of the largest growth opportunities across all of MSFT customer segments. With Win8 and O365 leading the way, we have an array of new and innovative technology and solutions to enable small and medium organization's to meet their business goals with on premise and cloud based solutions. With direct and indirect selling engines, SMS&P owns and manages the partner ecosystem for MS and is responsible for building partner skills, capabilities and engagement.

SMS&P is a global organization comprising of 4200 resources in account management, partner account management, solutions sales, inside sales, marketing, sales support and business support spread across 40 countries globally.

In this role you will partner with HR Managers and Business Leaders to:
§ Lead an integrated talent management plan across the global SMS&P business
§ Drive the annual talent management strategy focused on succession planning, including assessment of talent and org capability, strengths and gaps, identification of themes, and recommendations
§ Embed leadership and talent capability building and development initiatives and track results
§ Drive proactive and ongoing talent management processes to ensure top talent placement and movement globally
§ Analyze internal/external data, identify trends and potential implications & possible solutions
§ Bring expertise to Leaders and HR partners in pinpointing talent and org opportunities, brainstorming solutions, and delivering outcomes.
§ Leads large-scale talent initiatives, organizational interventions, and change management efforts

As SMS&P is a dynamic and growing business, special projects will arise where this role will either take a leadership or supporting role.

Education/Experience:
§ Proven impact & influence skills and track record of successfully engaging with senior leaders to drive a talent strategy
§ Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience in working effectively in a global context
§ Ability to assess and translate business strategies and workforce implications, and identify relevant solutions
§ Strong assessor of talent and able to coach for development, with exceptional consultative and facilitation skills
§ Strong knowledge of talent analytics, organizational design and development principles, strategic planning and change management methodologies
§ Large scale project management skills, ability to deal with ambiguity & demonstrated collaboration skills
§ 7-10 years in related Human Resources roles, with prior experience as an HR Generalist and in a specialty discipline. Both Line and Corporate/Center experience is a plus
