WWLP is leading and orchestrating efforts with the BGs, segments and field sales in the global development and implementation of licensing business models; to make it easy for customers to acquire, use, and manage Microsoft software products and software services to maximize the company's long-term profitability.
We are looking for a senior, seasoned business professional to build, manage and optimize the Tier 2 (Disti/VAR) channel Volume Licensing strategy. This position requires experience in channel management. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, has a strong channel background and the ability to work comfortably with executives internally at Microsoft and in partner organizations. Working knowledge of sales and marketing processes and Microsoft technology is preferred.
Your primary responsibility will be to design, build and execute the programs and strategies that deepen the relationship between Microsoft and Distributors to grow sales through Volume Licensing programs. As a result of this role's leadership, Microsoft will be able to better compete and gain share in the channel and increase its sales penetration of the SMB market. You will also serve as a trusted advisor' to key Distributor relationships. In this role you'll work closely with the SMB and WPG organizations as well as stakeholders in WWLP to coordinate between Distributor management and Microsoft field teams to build and execute a jointly developed sales and marketing plan to success with the New Generation Volume Licensing program.

Candidate must possesses strong collaboration skills and integrate across Microsoft's customer segments, business groups, marketing, services and account teams. This role involves interaction with key decision influencers and provides a great opportunity for career advancement in sales and marketing as well as other organizations across Microsoft.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with partner executives across sales, marketing and technical delivery teams
C-Level Trusted Advisor by providing strategic guidance and thought leadership
Execute business planning, sales, and marketing activities to achieve MS revenue/deployment goals and grow partner profitability
Provide executive engagement and partner advocacy that leads to world class partner satisfaction
Measure and manage Partner's success against metrics to maximize win-win results and strategic partner investments
A proven track record of developing, implementing, & representing cross-group initiatives is critical. A BS/BA is required along with 10 years' experience in a related field
