business (STB) comprises Microsoft's cloud platform services including Azure, SQL, Management & Security, Marketing, as
well our Developer Tools and Developer ecosystem. With over 10,000 employees in the STB division we account for close to
a fourth of Microsoft revenues and our business is poised for tremendous growth in next generation computing, and
development of products/services/tools across a range of devices. This position would specifically be supporting The
Business Platform Division, which consists of an extensive portfolio of on-premise server and client products, as well as a
growing family of SQL Azure, AppFabric, and Windows Azure Marketplace cloud services, in addition to innovative
software/hardware appliance offerings.

The primary responsibilities for this role include:
Drive end-to-end staffing accountability for a GM/Trio Leader organization - this includes account management at senior
levels in the organization, sourcing, and staffing excellence. This will include managing the full lifecycle recruiting process
from sourcing through offer and close.
Proactively researching specific industries to understand the talent landscape and leverage competitive intelligence to
inform your sourcing strategies.
Focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking, partnership with Talent Sourcing Teams, Internet searches and
research; sourcing active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, and internal databases, etc.
Understand technical/functional hiring needs and translate that understand into effective and efficient search strategies.
Conduct thorough candidate interviews to find the right match for the candidate and Microsoft while providing a world class
candidate experience. This includes a strong understanding of candidate needs and being a compensation expert as well as
consultant to the business.
Educate/train hiring managers, partner with key stakeholders and become the Trusted Advisor for talent management for
the teams you support.
Employ strategic consulting and influencing skills in order to provide staffing expertise and recommendations to drive
business success.

Requirements:
BS/BA degree or equivalent is preferred
5+ years of sourcing experience in a corporate or agency environment
3+ years of account management experience in a corporate or agency environment
Experience with creating candidate pipelines and have a proven track record of hiring success (core technical recruiting
preferred)
Experience with applicant tracking systems is preferred
Team player, very responsive and organized
Candidates must also demonstrate:
Proven capability in implementing targeted external sourcing initiatives
Ability to generate a quality pipeline of candidates in a timely manner while providing an excellent candidate experience
Ability to prioritize, contract effectively with clients and multi-task competing priorities/workload
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive
relationships
Ability to meet or exceed staffing metrics including individual productivity targets, business workforce plans, diversity
and client & candidate satisfaction.
