Position Summary:
Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly duties required to perform the job of accounts payable analyst. This position will be responsible for certain portfolio of vendor accounts that will include matching and processing invoices for payments, past due invoice follow up via internal resources, matching invoices to goods received and performing weekly and monthly duties assigned by Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:
Ensures timely payment of assigned vendor invoices through matching of purchase orders, requesting invoices from vendors and monitoring of all payment authorizations to payment completion.
Assist as needed in the preparation of check runs to vendors either through bank check processing, wire transfer or ACH.
Ensures vendor account maintenance is kept accurate based on assigned portfolio.
Ensure invoices are paid within assigned terms.
Ensure goods received match invoices.

Requirements
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field from a four year college or university.
Have 0-3 years in accounts payable experience.
Prefer a background utilizing SAP R/3 software or a similar ERP system environment.
Must have Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with moderate Excel spreadsheet preparation skills operating in an NT LAN/WAN systems environment.
