What you need for this position:
-7+ years of experience developing state-of-the-art applications
-3+ years of experience with multimedia applications
- Significant mastery of the Mac development environment
- Strong knowledge of Objective C, C++, and C required
-Strong understanding of software algorithms, structures, and patterns
-Excellent object-oriented design and analysis skills
-Experience developing high-quality, multi-threaded applications
-Experience with text, voice, or video communication applications
-Experience with Git preferred
-Experience with video capture & encoding/decoding (H.264)
-Must possess good communication skills and be eager to work in a team environment with other dedicated engineers Ability to lead software engineering teams
-BS degree in CS, EE, or equivalent.
Nice Pluses:
-Application development with Video
-Familiarity with IP networking and telephony (H.323 & SIP)
-Experience with Jenkins (Hudson) build system
-Android development
-Mac and iOS app store submission and approval process
What you'll be doing:
-Provide technical and team leadership in the design, implementation, and testing of high-performance, high-quality video communication applications primarily for the Mac and iOS platforms
-Deliver innovative solutions that increase application performance, usability, and fit for our target customers
-Ensures product quality through rigorous code reviews, automated unit and system testing, and test case creation and review.
-Implement standards-based communication protocols and related technologies
-Drive standards based architectures and supporting services
-Use of agile and rapid application development processes to speed engineering efforts
-Follow engineering best practices in a team environment to develop high-quality products including writing automated unit, component and feature level testing
-Contribute to the overall enterprise architecture and the development of product features
