Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Provides Fanatical Support by acting as primary point of contact for all customer billing/payment issues on assigned portfolios. Ensures the collections function is working efficiently by controlling credit to customers and collecting all monies due to minimize the risk of bad debt. Manages the collection of customer accounts from an assigned portfolio. Initiates problem resolutuion by using various research and reconciliation techniques. Manages bad debt in a portfolio environment by working through issues with assigned customers. Results driven while maintaing collegial relationships with customers. Interacts with various internal departments. Deals with internal and external calls in a polite and timely manner. Records all forms of communication with customers on the Navision system.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY: Intermediate knowledge of Excel. Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of MS Office. Ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Experience in portfolio collections. Experience with Oracle preferred. Ability to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand. Ability to successfully work and promote inclusivenessin small groups. Ability to provide FANATICAL support.

JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on assignments that are semi routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a minimum of 2 years in a customer service environment. High School diploma or equivalent.
