Description:

The Surveillance and Reconnaissance Business Unit has an immediate vacancy for a Signal Processing Engineer to work in San Diego, CA.

Job Description: Signal processing analyst focusing on data analysis, algorithm development and evaluation in the radar and optical domains. Will need to rapidly come up to speed on a classified, Legacy code stream utilizing statistical signal processing techniques. Strong emphasis on algorithm development and data analysis in both time series and spectral domain. Should be able to work independently and with a team to develop innovative solutions to challenging technical problems.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math). Advanced degree is preferred.

Required Skills: 6 or more years experience in signal processing. Strong analytical skills in the areas of digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and stochastic processes. Experience with Matlab is expected.
