Reports to: Interim CEO

Title: Vice President, Sales Operations

The Vice President, Sales Operations will drive both transformation and continuous improvement in technology, processes and programs for sales effectiveness, capability and productivity to enable ongoing revenue growth while creating infrastructure to support ACTIVE's business strategy and operational plans.

Specific Responsibilities include:
- Process, Policy and Sales Systems
-Refine and standardize sales processes across the organization to improve operational efficiency, sales productivity and customer satisfaction
-Support Sales teams to focus on the highest value activities, reducing unnecessary complexity by automating or eliminating redundant or low-value activities.
-Implement and continuously reinvigorate the technologies, systems and other tools that provide stable and usable systems that increase sales efficiency and effectiveness, primarily SalesForce.com
- Sales Enablement
-Implementation of sales training, tools & processes to expedite the execution of key sales activities, providing a systematic means for monitoring sales performance.
-Provide input and validate the content of learning and development activities, measuring training effectiveness based on business outcomes.
- Sales Compensation
-Design and support of sales compensation plans, ensuring they motivate our sales teams to implement our strategy & drive for sustained revenue growth.
-Collaborate with Finance and Human Resources teams to ensure administration of plans aligns with business strategy and operating objectives.
- Sales Communication and Events
-Create and distribute vibrant messaging and sales events that drive revenue growth and business success.
- Sales Reporting and Analytics
-Generate all Sales Quarterly Metrics
-Refine and distribute all Corporate Standard Reports
-Collect and Distribute all Sales Forecast data
Additional qualifications for this Position:

- The ideal candidate will possess strategic planning capability mixed with an outstanding ability to drive execution with a focus on directing operational enhancements to enhance sales productivity and effectiveness.
- Proven experience leading large scale change efforts.
- Strong cross-team collaboration skills and an ability to facilitate and lead initiatives in a Matrix organization structure.
- Well-regarded presentation and written skills with ability to correspond at multiple levels of management required.
- Collaborates and influences top management to keep abreast of plans and strategies impacting functions managed.
- Experience leading sales programs, policies, process and compensation in support of cloud/term based offerings a plus.
- 10-15 years of experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations, field sales, channel sales, or a combination of these roles.
- Bachelors plus 15 or more years of relevant experience. Ten years or more years of management experience. MBA preferred.
- Enterprise software sales experience required. SalesForce.com a plus.
