We're seeking talented software engineers who are passionate about web apps and related open source projects. Responsibilities

Yammer is changing the face of enterprise software. We move very fast and push code daily. We have customers all over the world, and your primary responsibility will be supporting them and our engineering team by:
- Being a first responder to production incidents
- Identifying root causes of issues
- Developing resolutions by analyzing and repairing broken data
- Identifying and fixing bugs in production data and code
- Providing advanced troubleshooting to our Engineering, Technical Support and Customer Success teams
- Communicating complex technical ideas in a way that makes it easy for non-technical customers and other employees to digest
- Creating tools to automate your job and the jobs of others

Requirements

- 1+ years experience in software development
- A strong background in web application development using technologies such as
o Ruby or Python
o Web Development Framework like Rails or Django
o Knowledge of RESTful web services

Strongly Preferred Skills
Customer/Technical Support experience
Javascript
jQuery
memcached
RDBMS such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
Security testing experience
Knowledge of OAuth and SSO (Single Sign-On)

Candidates must be able to meet customer security screening requirements as indicated for this role. Customer screening requirements may include additional items such as, but not limited to: specialized agency background checks (either national or local) and fingerprinting. All employees hired into roles supporting Cloud Offerings will also be required to pass Microsoft background checks prior to the start of employment and every two years thereafter.
