My client is a small boutique proprietary trading firm, with a small team of fifteen traders/technologists based in San Francisco area, California. Founded by a partner with extensive experience in the equities space, the firm has been trading successfully for a number of years, with a focus on cutting edge hardware/software and sophisticated quantitative strategies. The firm successfully trades the Asian equities market and through very high profits over the course of 2012, the team is seeking to expand the desk and hire a senior candidate with deep experience of equity options.
Ideally you will have deep knowledge of automated volatility and automated risk adjustment. You will join a collaborative and dynamic environment, working closely with technologists and traders alike and you will gain excellent exposure to the markets. Compensation is EXTREMLEY competitive and the firm offers uncapped bonus potential in line with trading profits often up to 100% in the first year.

Responsibilities for C++ Options High Frequency Trading Developer Greenfield Options Trading Desk

- Work in a small team of 10 traders/technologist
- Take the lead in building out a new equity options trading platform
- Automated volatility fitting
- Automated risk adjustment

Optimize market data and order routing

Design/implement/back-test equity trading strategies alongside traders
