Technetics Group is recruiting for a Sales Engineer to support our Semiconductor market.The role will be responsible for business development activities for a specific portfolio of customers, which will include sales and marketing. This person will additionally also have a technical and development engineer support role, working with other account manager across the Semiconductor market, and therefore this role may suit either an experienced business development professional with an interest in maintaining a technical role, or a technical engineer looking to gain business development experience. This position is based in Santa Clara, California.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

. Manage all sales activity within specified account base for all Technetics Group products.

. Responsible for new application identification and being liaison between customer and applications engineer.

. Responsible for attaining revenue goals within account base.

. Responsible for customer interaction and relationship management within own account base.

. Responsible for representing customer requests and perspectives to production, operations, quality, and management personnel to plan and execute proper "customer centric" support.

. Be able to meet with key customers in order to understand their challenges and translate that into design outputs.

. Interfaces with customer engineering to provide product DFX (Manufacturing, Assembly, Cost) inputs to enhance manufacturability of new products through the application of Technetics' preferred manufacturing processes and capabilities.

. Identify and manage appropriate trade shows and marketing, advertising activity within market segment.

. Work with product engineering, other account managers, and our Technical Development team on new product development programs.

. Work closely with various cross functional teams as necessary as well as available technical resources.

. Understands and interprets engineering drawings, process specifications, 3D models, and design intents. Understands and interprets geometric tolerance, design intent, primary design features and tolerance stackup.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

. Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering

. Five or more years' experience within either semiconductor market sales OR within relevant technical engineering role

. Experience with major Semiconductor OEMs in region is desirable.

. Exceptional communication and organizational skills

. Self motivated and resilient person

. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Word

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle and feel material, as well as reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
