The Experience Lead is a key member of the Innovation and Incubation team, and takes primary responsibility for the end quality of the demonstrations, sales support materials, and delivery aides housed in the Solutions Showcase storefront. The role requires a broad variety of skills which support a central goal to identify innovative technologies, products and services Avanade can deliver to grow its business globally. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in three areas; creative and user experience, technology innovation, and product evangelism. A critical aspect of the role is the candidate's ability to deeply digest and effectively communicate the purpose and message of a subject via direct conversation, presentation, and user experience design. The candidate must have a genuine passion for leading-edge technologies and trends as they relate to Avanade's business and that of its customers.
The primary responsibilities are: -Working with the Industry, Service Line, and other Subject Matter Experts, craft scenarios that deliver the desired business and technology messages in a manner consistent with best practices and customer need and highlighting Avanade's deep experience in business technology services.
- Ensure that the experience of the demonstrations being created consistently and reliably meet the intended design criteria and exemplify the best that Avanade and any underlying technologies have to offer.
- Maintain an emphasis on lean, impressive, high-quality demonstrations that are easy to use. Guide development decisions such that these attributes are continually prioritized and emphasized.
- Execute a quality review includes all aspects of the user experience, including graphics, sample data, system interaction and any other relevant elements of the all deliverables - including not only the demonstration but also any supporting internal or customer-ready items included in the Bill of Materials.
- Engage the business development channel through evangelism, marketing and training activities.
- Support the business development channel through direct customer presentations and opportunity support.
Qualifications
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
-7+ years of services sales or professional consulting experience
- 5+ years of consulting or related services sales experience with Microsoft products
- Experience or demonstrable interest in user experience, creative or other agency work
- Experience or demonstrable interest in software design and engineering
- Four year college degree, advance degree (M.B.A. or equivalent) preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in user experience design or heavily UX-focused development
