Job Summary

The Sr. Software Engineer role will use his/her software design and development skills along with in depth knowledge of the Microsoft .NET Framework, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and C# to develop world-class, industry-leading solutions for the healthcare industry.
1. Work within an agile framework (Scrum) to iteratively plan, design, develop, test, refine and deliver commercial enterprise software.
2. Write Unit Tests as part of Test Driven Development methodology.
3. Work with quality analysts and test engineers to develop test cases and scenarios.
4. Work closely with Product Analysts and Testers to assure that application features pass the established acceptance criteria, and that a baseline release quality is achieved.
5. Work closely with Product Analysts to solve or mitigate client escalations and provide quick turn around time for client escalated issues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree

Minimum 5+ combined years experience developing commercial client and/or server applications
Minimum 5+ years experience working with C#
Minimum 5+ years experience working with Microsoft SQL Server

Preferred Qualification

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience developing and delivering commercial enterprise software
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server/ALM
Familiarity with SOA Architecture and cloud computing
Experience developing WPF applications - Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle - Strong communication skills, with the proven ability to present complex ideas and to document technical artifacts in a clear, concise way
