What you need for this position:
-BSEE, MBA, Marketing or similar technical or business degree.
-1 years minimum experience in product management for a B2B product company.
-Experience with MPEG compression products and applications in professional broadcast and video delivery.
-Experience with Direct-to-Home, CATV, Telco, IPTV and/or Terrestrial broadcast markets.
-Willingness to engage in 30% travel inside and outside the U.S.
-Experience with MPEG-2, MPEG-4 compression, Encoders, Receiver-Decoders, Transcoders, Multiplexers, Modulators, Demodulators and related Transport Stream Processing products and technologies.
-Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
What you'll be doing:
-Product management, product marketing, and business development activities for assigned products and verticals.
-Identify & analyze customer needs and drive new product & feature roadmaps.
-Market analysis, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and product life cycle management.
-Identify and champion new innovative product solutions. Develop and present business cases, and synthesize market forecasts.
-Coordinate with departments across the organization to plan, develop, introduce and market products in alignment with company goals.
-Perform market research, technology research, and competitive research. Monitor trends; author and present whitepapers
-Provide leadership and supervisory responsibilities to support engineers and marketing support personal as appropriate.
