What you need for this position:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in web or graphic design
- 5+ years in art direction and design
- Very solid understanding of: HTML/CSS/Java/JavaScript/AJAX knowledge
- Deep understanding of interactive design concepts, web technologies, information architecture, and user experience
- Skilled in conceptual layout, color schemes, and current trends
- Demonstrated ability to communicate design ideas visually and verbally, and qualify design decisions.
- Ability to manage many projects simultaneously
- Positive attitude, proactive, and constructive attitude in problem-solving
- Ability to discuss design/creative process and defend design choices
- Active understanding of web site form and function
- Attention to details
What you'll be doing:
- Provide significant input to the strategic and conceptual direction of the work that our firm creates and delivers for its clients.
- Create compelling on-brand, on-strategy digital solutions.
- Inspire, motivate, and direct team members to create work that gets noticed, wins awards, and answers the needs of our clients.
- Collaborate with developers, strategists, user experience designers, account managers, and project managers.
- Present creative concepts to clients in face-to-face meetings as well as online.
- Participate in new business development activities.
