Job Description
As a part of the North America Sales and Marketing team your primary responsibility will be to manage the development of winning proposals to our sales prospects within the IT Outsourcing industry tailored to Atos' current portfolio and offerings. This will include management of the solution development including technical, operational, costing, pricing and contractual aspects. This senior position will also be responsible for large project budgets and managing large virtual teams formed with internationally located members with diverse experience and expertise. Wide industry experience, quick analysis and assimilation of information, leadership and decision making are the key traits of this role. This individual must be able to clearly articulate the Atos solution and value proposition in customer meetings, presentations and proposals.

Bid managers facilitate the proposal development process from start to finish. They oversee the creation of presales documentation and presentations for potential customers. Bid managers also produce the tendering plan and establish the tendering team, which typically includes representation from a company's financial, legal, sales and procurement departments. They work closely with sales managers to estimate project costs and track completion of written assignments. Bid managers also organize bid distribution logistics, including the management approval process. Essentially, bid managers oversee the proposal development process to provide high-quality bids on time and in an organized fashion.

Job Requirements
Responsible for leading and executing the activities related to the sales support cycle for IT related services, including bid management, proposal generation and production, contract formulation and closure.

Co-ordinate and manage resources (virtual cross-functional teams such as Service Lines, Finance, Legal etc.) required to respond to business opportunities for Atos, in order to ensure that proposals and contracts are in line with Atos strategy and capabilities and meets the customers expectations and requirements.

Additional Information
Previous Experience
Any Business Development or Account Management/Sales experience will be beneficial within the IT industry
Relevant experience as Bid Manager with a track record being gained in IT related field and services integration environment
A track record in managing communications internally and externally at senior and middle Management level
Experienced in creating a bid community and functional teams
Experience of leading and motivating one or more teams in a pressured work environment
Experienced in set up business cases
Experienced in relevant legal aspects (eg terms of conditions, penalty systems)
