We an extremely well funded start-up, based in beautiful Houston, TX that is a leader in the cloud based security space. We recently received a big round of funding to take our company and products to the next level. Our company is rapidly growing (we have added 100 people to the company in the last year) and we are currently in need of a passionate Senior Erlang Engineer to join our team. The ideal individual will have a solid background with C and Erlang programming, Unix/Linux API's, network applications and protocols, Erlang and OpenSSL!
What you need for this position:
- Solid background with C and Erlang programming
- Extensive experience with Unix/Linux Environments and API's
- Experience with developing networking applications and strong background with network protocols
- Experience with IP, UDP, TCP and HTTP
- Experience with Erlang and OpenSSL are big pluses
What you will be doing:
- Design and develop Client Server architecture using C and Erlang in UNIX/Linux environment
- Work both individually and as part of the team solving complex technical problems in a fast paced, agile environment
