The Services Coordinator will be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity, including the daily coordination of fulfillment issues related to Customer Service Agreements, Time and Material, Component Repair and Accessory orders. Essential Responsibilities: In addition, you will:


  • Be responsible for daily coordination of fulfillment issues related to Customer Service Agreements, Time and Material, Component Repair and Accessory shops
  • Be responsible for resolution of issues related to shop processes
  • Represent customers in production meetings and communicates status to the customer
  • Be responsible for warranty and guarantee administration including prevention and identification of potential claims and management of actual claims
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation including shipping, invoicing and finance systems
  • Maintain Commercial Cost System and Component Repair Directory data including turnaround time, resolving Purchase Order (PO) specific issues and invoice issue resolution Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service role
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer service environment

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability and willingness to occasionally push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs, however, position is mostly sedentary
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time that require mental and visual concentration working with computers, numbers and customer documentation
  • Position is performed mostly in an office environment within a manufacturing facility, sometimes required to work through production shop and warehouse environment with moderate weather related variations Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience supporting industrial repair or field service teams
  • Experience working in administrative customer support position, interacting with customer contacts and field service or repair teams, Oil & Gas industry
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience working with MRP or similar system
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety, safety relief and/or control valve maintenance
  • Minimum of 3 years supporting services organization in safety, safety relief and/or control valves
  • Associates Degree in a technical field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related field strongly
  • Customer driven/focused
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team oriented and willing to lead others
  • High energy, detail oriented
  • Ability to read and interpret PSV Data and Capacity charts
  • Experience working with measurement devices and test gauges
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks within a fast paced environment
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports and correspondence that are clear and intelligible
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, customers and other employees
  • Sound judgment with the ability to make decisions and corrections when problems are detected
  • Ability to work independently and/or in team assignments
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed to support customer requirements and seasonal business volume, at times in short notice
  • Strong history of dependability and reliability
