What you need for this position:
- BS in Computer science OR 5+ years industry related experience
- Full stack development experience
- Strong database skills (Big Data a plus)
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
Experience with PHP/Zend
- MySQL experience
- Understanding of Rackspace, Amazon and other cloud based services
- Strong experience with HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS & Bootstrap
Bonus Points:
- Extensive experience with machine learning algorithms &/or libraries
- Previous experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, HBase, Riak, DynamoDB etc...
- Experience with the AWS suite
-Previous experience with Hadoop or MapReduce
- Experience creating and/or leveraging APIs to intergrate web services
