Job Summary

3M HIS is currently seeking a Web JavaScript Developer to work on our flagship product within the Healthcare Coding & Billing arena, specifically software for major healthcare facilities throughout the world. This product offering is at the forefront of the Federal Healthcare Reform and we are seeking skills and experience in JavaScript and web application development. Some of the other duties will include the following:

- Software design, coding, and debugging the Coding and Reimbursement System - Computer Assisted Edition software product.

- Apply Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and principles in software design and development.

- Work with other software engineers, clinical analysts, quality engineers, and other team members to design and build required systems.

- Adhere to team design and coding procedures and standards.

- Interact with customers to resolve operational problems and determine customer requirements.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree

- Minimum 3+ year experience in Web Services standards and coding

- Minimum 3+ years experience with HTML and JavaScript

- Minimum 1+ year experience with C/C++

- Minimum 1+ year experience with .NET and/or C#

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

- Experience developing in Java

- Experience in user interface design and human factors

- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) skills

- Experience using jQuery

- Strong communication skills

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, development environments and tools.

- 3+ years experience developing browser-based applications
