Located in North San Diego County, Watkins Manufacturing is seeking a Web Developer to join our Team!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining website features and functionality to meet current and future needs, which perform well and are easy to maintain. Coordinate technical projects from inception to completion with responsibilities for day-to-day execution and workflow to deliver at the highest quality, on time and on budget. This position will partner and work closely with internal and external (agencies) teams, both domestic and international.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or 3-5 years relevant work experience developing consumer facing (B2B/B2C) websites, demonstrated competence in web development and experience working with agencies and/or cross-functional teams is required. Solid understanding of digital mediums from a sociological, technological and tactical perspective. Experience in coordinating agile development projects required.

Intermediate skill and experience in PHP, Python (or a comparable object-oriented language), HTML, JavaScript and CSS required. Basic fluency in best practices for web information architecture, semantic markup, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, website product lifecycle management coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing required. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
