Computer Scientist - High Performance Cloud Computing, Parallel Computer Scientist Our company is conducting research in making high performance computing resources, including shared memory multi-processors, GPU accelerators, and general-purpose many-core architectures available via private cloud infrastructure. We are conducting studies on and implementing virtualization, scheduling, bare-metal provisioning, and security for high-performance cloud computing.

Successful candidates will have demonstrable (ie published) expertise in an area related to high performance cloud computing.

What you need for this position:

* TS/SCI with CI Poly or better.
* Master's degree acceptable but Ph.D. preferred.
* Parallel and distributed systems (threads, message passing, or hybrid systems)
* Hypervisor internals
* Linux Kernel internals
* Performance analysis (scalability, network and I/O optimization, parallel I/O, etc.)

Longer term, you will have the opportunity to develop your own research agenda through contributing to (and authoring) research proposals, writing publishable papers and articles, and presenting his or her work at scientific forums and to potential sponsors.
