A global business management consulting firm is in need of a SharePoint Developer for its IT Consulting/Software Services Group based in Washington, D.C..
Must haves:
- Extensive knowledge of software development processes and best practices utilizing SharePoint and the Microsoft technology stack
- Must possess a deep technical understanding of all aspects of Microsoft SharePoint platform solutions for both 2007 and 2010
- Must have hands on experience and capabilities for developing and deploying customized SharePoint solutions
- .NET Framework/C#/Experience with Sharepoint 2007/2010/SQL Server 2008
Preferred skills:
- Understand enterprise scale n-Tier systems built on Microsoft technologies
- Experience developing web services using Windows Communication Foundation
- Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)
- Web development experience using HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with developing reports in SQL Server Reporting Services
- Experience with developing desktop applications using WPF or Windows Forms
EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS
Bachelor†s degree in relevant discipline (eg MIS, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree) required
3+ years of experience
Significant portion of above experience working for a technology consulting firm or software product company
ABILITY TO TRAVEL
0-40% travel may be required based on client requests/commitments
