We pay an hourly rate of $60-$75 per hour. The Web Developer/Designer is responsible for the development and design of major and minor web applications and components for internal and external system users. The developer will have the ability to create web sites, applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, production, and deployment. Enhancements and defect resolution will be required on an ongoing basis. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to insure the success of the project. Candidates will be required to have experience in graphics, layout, scripting, and programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as, but not limited to, HTML, Java, etc.
Flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for this position; additionally, the incumbent will have the ability to learn quickly while delivering quality work under tight time constraints.
What you need for this position:
-Experience in developing innovative client side interfaces using web standards
-Section 508 and W3C Compliance experience
-Experience with workflow and collaboration tools
-Must have 5-7 years of solid hands-on Front End web design/development experience.
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems (or related field of study).
-Practical experience in web development technologies to include X/HTML, XSLT, jquery, JavaScript, RSS, CSS, SQL, Perl, graphics creation with Photoshop, Illustrator, (Adobe Creative Suite), multimedia creation with Flash, ActionScript, (Macromedia Studio).
-Practical exposure and/or experience with some or all of the following: Java Server Pages and Java, XML, PHP, Oracle, MS SQL Server, ColdFusion Server, CFML, CFScript, IIS, Windows Server environments.

-Develops and/or designs web applications, components, web pages, graphics, multimedia, GUIs
-Writes standards-compliant CSS, XHTML, and JavaScript for complex user interactions
-Utilizes storyboarding and graphic pre-designs where appropriate.
-Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills while communicating effectively in both technical and business environments.
-Analyzes functional requirements and specifications through close interaction with Product Management and User Experience teams.
-Designs and implements web-based user interfaces to fulfill functional requirements and architectural goals.
