Construction Superintendent - Construction, Superintendent, Mul Construction Project Manager

We are a leading self performing multi-family developer in the Columbus Ohio area, actively seeking a Full time Superintendent/Field Project manager. We specialize in multi-family/mixed use projects in the $50-200M range. We are a stable firm with little turnover and a great work/life balance.

What you need for this position:

* Candidate must have working experience in mid or high-rise Multi-Family construction, Student Housing, or Mixed-Use Projects.
* Candidate must be a good communicator, able to read and interpret detailed construction plans and specifications
* Candidate must possess basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, etc
* Candidate must demonstrate experience supervising work teams
* Candidate must be already or willing to become OSHA 30 Hour certified and licensed on equipment, ie: all-terrain forklift

What you'll be doing:

* Coordinates and supervises all construction activities on assigned project
* Promotes and maintains responsibility for jobsite safety, encouraging safe work practices and insure all on-site personnel adhere to company safety policy
* Develops and maintains overall project construction schedule and prepare weekly three-week look-ahead schedule for use by all interested parties.
* Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule within budget with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications;
* Identifies and offers solutions to problems
* Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process
* Understands the project plans and specifications;
* Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees;
* Maintain an organized construction site and job office
