Overview:

Experienced HP Tools Administrator with UNIX or Windows systems background needed to assist in building and administering HP BSM Suite, including but not limited to, HP BAC/BSM, HP Sitescope, HP RUM, HP Operations Manager, HP uCMDB, HP OMi.

Responsible for architecting and maintaining tools in a high availability environment while maintaining and promoting quality and compliance with GE Healthcare standards. Provide technical subject matter expertise for tools and manage tools and any related interfaces. Integrate tools with other current tools and define and communicate business driven product enhancements to Hewlett-Packard.

Interact with business teams and other GE businesses in providing technical support and building solutions. Work with internal customers to drive best-use practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage and maintain monitors, alerts, reports and related components.
  • Customize and extend tools based on business requirements.
  • Design, Develop and Maintain interfaces with related applications.
  • Create Reports based on agreements with recipients.
  • Develop SLA's based on business/customer needs.
  • Troubleshoot tool issues.
  • Engage HP Support when necessary to assist in resolving tool issues.
  • Support and participate in performance tuning with the technology teams for close collaboration.
  • Perform upgrades or install patches.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum four years Windows or UNIX server experience in progressively more technical positions.
  • Experience in two or more of the following:
    • HP BAC/BSM
    • HP Sitescope
    • HP RUM
    • HP Operations Manager
    • HP OMi
    • HP uCMDB
  • Strong architecting, troubleshooting, task prioritization, teamwork and communication skills.
  • System design experience; ability to translate user requirements into system design specifications.

Desired Skillsets:

  • Experience in a global systems environment with rigorous change control processes.
  • HP and Oracle server hardware and software.
  • Linux experience.
  • VMware/ESX experience.
  • Scripting experience.
  • Project management skills/experience.
  • Programming development skills.
