Telecomm Field Inspector

• Provide field inspections of cable/fiber placement and/or cable fiber splicing and/or construction work across enterprise.
• Pre-survey of construction packages, data preparation and documentation in reporting field results.
• Attend field meetings with personnel, as well as government agencies and construction contractors.
• Track, monitor and update databases or other work groups on job status.
• Prepare work requests, verify as correct change orders and/or invoices, complete documentation on job progress or issue surrounding job, review all documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting.

SKILLS

• Working knowledge in underground utility construction, including manhole and conduit construction.
• Working knowledge of engineering prints, ability to understand and interpret PUE and ROW recommendation.
• Knowledge of Outside Plant Safety and Procedures. Can be Customer facing at times.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Previous C&E or outside I&M experience.
• Strong communication skills.
