Position Description:

Assist Vice-President in running GAAP projections for Financial Planning and Fed Stress tests.
Provide support for various actuarial/finance projects
Implement new annuity products reserving requirements in valuation software
Identify Statutory, GAAP, and Tax valuation issues and recommend solutions/opportunities for improvement.
Produce clear and concise explanations regarding valuation issues and results.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or related field.
ASA or recent FSA certification.
At least 4-5 years of related Statutory/GAAP valuation actuary experience.
Solid knowledge of Fixed or Variable annuities products.
Strong knowledge of CARVM, FAS 97 and SOP03-1 regulations.
Ability to work independently, successful at managing and meeting multiple project deadlines.
Strong technical expertise with MS Office especially Access and Excel.
Experience in valuation software such as ARCVAL or Polysystems.
Programming in Visual Basic or SQL or C++ a plus.
