Our client, a well known and well respected industry leader is currently seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join their world class organisation.

They have recently gone live with a new SAP implementation and in this exciting role you will be responsible for managing the Demand Planning and supporting the Sales & Operations functions. This will include:
  • Owning the APO forecasting process - Weekly maintenance of forecasts, product and planning set up and deletion
  • Co-ordinate and maintain the long term forecast in conjunction with sales and marketing
  • Run review and adjust Sales History
  • Designing and generating weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports utilising APO system
  • Review future demand, trends and upcoming marketing events - safety stocks, inventory levels and customer service requirements
  • Manage all stock within the Business Units and development/documentation of procedures
  • Assist in the implementation of Optimal Inventory levels and monitoring/analysis to main agreed Service Levels
  • Co-ordinate long term monthly production plan and raw material requirements (MRP) with all relevant business units
  • Work with Supply planner to ensure production is made in align with Forecasts
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Previous Demand Planning experience in the FMCG sector
  • Good understanding of forecasting systems and knowledge in SAP APO
  • Great analytical and communication skills
  • Business knowledge of sales, operations and distribution
