Allied Health

Allied Health, which represents twelve professions, is a rapidly growing and integrated service within Cabrini. Allied Health at Cabrini offers senior consultant and leadership roles; working within clinical streams; a junior staff rotation and support program; professional development, research and teaching opportunities; and strong external partnerships. Allied Health led research at Cabrini is supported by a senior Allied Health Research Consultant.

The Role

We are seeking experienced, positive, flexible and highly motivated dietitians interest in casual weekend work. Cabrini provides a 7 day dietetic service and we are looking for clinicians who are keen to work either Saturday, Sunday or both to replenish our weekend bank. Applicants must have experience in a range of clinical areas, including critical care and gastrointestinal surgery. Successful applicants will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure that the relevant clinical services demonstrate excellence, quality, current evidence-based practice and the highest level of patient satisfaction and staff engagement.

Key Capabilities

  • Well consolidated post-graduate experience in the acute healthcare setting (min 3 years)
  • Demonstrated consolidated clinical experience in ICU and gastrointestinal surgery
  • Demonstrated ability to consult and collaborate with others and work as an effective member of a team
  • Excellent time management skills and high degree of flexibility
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, which include excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to continuing professional development and clinical research
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance the patient and family experience at Cabrini
  • Commitment to Cabrini's Mission, Values and Behaviours that Matter
  • Dietitians Association of Australia member and have Accredited Practicing Dietitian status
