About The Company

The Role

Located in modern offices situated on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef, this is an initial 12 month contract for an experienced IT Security Consultant to be responsible for analysing, designing and implementing security solutions.


  • Analyse and implement Risk Management processes to facilitate vulnerability assessments for various IT systems
  • Design and implement Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) capabilities to provide Real Time analysis of security alerts by network hardware and applications
  • Analyse, design and implement improvements to Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes
  • Review and update business continuity and disaster recovery protocols to include incident response and recovery

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Extensive IT security experience in either a technical or consulting role
  • Current and recognised security certifications
  • Experience in IT security consultancy, risk assessment and compliance activities
  • Knowledge of standards
  • Knowledge of security systems and controls covering physical, procedural and technical areas
