* IT System Engineer | 3-6 months | French or Dutch speaker.*

We are currently seeking a Senior IT System Engineer for one of our clients based in Europe.

Responsibilities includes:

• Oversee on-premises installations for key clients:

  • Utilize infrastructure-as-code technologies to automate installations and updates.
  • Handle monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Collaborate closely with professional services and SRE to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Document and disseminate configurations and processes.

• Engage in production maintenance and operations:

  • Monitor and optimize configurations for key clients.
  • Manage and improve monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Contribute to the design and development of production infrastructure.

• Manage and improve internal infrastructure and services:

  • Transition remaining on-premises services to cloud infrastructure.
  • Employ infrastructure-as-code technologies to automate installations and updates.
  • Handle monitoring and alerting tools effectively.

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering, SRE, or a relevant field.
• Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies, system architecture design, and system integration is vital.
• Demonstrated expertise in Linux, networking concepts, database management systems, and Scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies like Ansible and Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, teamwork proficiency, and the capability to handle pressure.
• Language proficiency in English, Dutch, and/or French.
