What you'll do:

  • Position Title: Technical Project Coordinator - SAP Analytics Cloud Intern
  • Location: Vancouver, British Columbia
  • Expected start date to end date: January 6, 2020 to September 4, 2020

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The intern - Technical Project Coordinator role works closely with Senior Engineering Management to assist in planning and coordination of complex multi-site, multi-cultural, enterprise software projects. The successful candidate will be analyzing project related data, creating reports and coordinating follow-up action items derived from the data.

EXPECTATION AND TASKS

  • Support key project drivers and managers in the team throughout the project delivery cycle by:
    • Assist in the planning and cordination of meetings and follow-up of action items and key issues
    • Assist in quality management fr the projects
    • Supprt day to day activities related to project management
    • Perfrm data analysis and provide reports and insights on discovery
    • Prvide ad-hoc reporting services for senior management team
  • Administrate system and tools
    • Perfrm integration of multiple systems by writing scripts and utilizing internal tools that are built within SAP
    • Accunt administration and tooling technical support for the development team

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Computer Science or Software Engineering major; Business minor preferred
  • Passionate about building software and have career aspirations to be part of software industry
  • Basic knowledge of software development life cycle is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with database (SQL) is strongly preferred
  • Experience with BI tools and ability to manipulate date via scripts
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • Learn and pick up new tasks quickly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills ability to multi-task several projects and prioritize work
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must be detail oriented and process oriented
  • Proactive in solving issues and asking questions
  • Understand and follow instructions

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters, MBA or PhD degree program that is applicable to the position
  • Transcripts required
  • Cover Letters preferred but not required
  • Looking for someone who can commit for 8 months full time internship starting January 2020
