Event Manager Clinical Development
One of our major client, is looking for an Event Manager Clinical Development, to Plan, coordinate and execute national and international Meetings for Clinical Development, and oversee, compile, assess and control budgets for all meetings (excluding meetings planned and executed by agencies).
RESPONSABILITIES
- Set up meeting planning, for Investigator Meetings and big scale events
- Continuously improve meetings/events policy, processes, and guidelines
- Oversee, compile, assess and control budgets for all meetings (excluding meetings planned and executed by agencies)
- Establish state-of-the-art contracts with third party suppliers (eg hotels, agencies, promotional material suppliers etc. to obtain/negotiate best possible rates and conditions) in collaboration with procurement
- Perform venue site inspections when needed
- Be challenger and supervisor on site of quality adherence of all external service providers
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience planning and managing global events within international pharmaceutical companies including liaising with the industry, vendor selection and management
- Ability to manage budgets
- Ability to work with people on different hierarchical levels and to establish fruitful working relationships
- Fluency in English (written and spoken is essential), other languages are an advantage
- Training and/or experience in Plain Language Summary writing
- Must be able to coordinate, multitask and problem solve to the highest degree
