Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical organization is looking for a senior Supply Chain System Specialist with strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management, and a key focus on warehouse, transportation management, and logistics.

Job description:

• To support External Quality from a QA & Compliance point of view in the oversight of pharmaceutical third-party manufacturing operations
• Improve the overall supply-chain management functions and performance
• Provide support and advanced knowledge for specific and clinical distribution related projects
• Performs/manages/facilitates/coordinates different system testing, user acceptance and regression tests
• Standardization and optimization of distribution processes with a focus on lead time, ensuring supply chain and inventory optimization
• Maintain compliant functionality and process standards between the company system and the warehouse or transport management system of external logistics service providers
• Responsible for managing advance analytics and reporting capabilities
• Support effective issue resolution and cascading of information to stakeholders, manages escalations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business or supply chain field
• 5 years operational experience in (Clinical) Supply Chain/Distribution/Planning
• Strong experience in SAP supply chain modules
• Experience in ERP IT system and/or deployments
• Excellent knowledge of clinical supply chain distribution processes, industry best practices, and applicable tools and systems to enable operational excellence
• Strong agile methodologies and LEAN/OE experience
• German is a plus
