Background:

Our Client is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to strengthen the client DevOps team.

The DevOps team is a small, motivated, and very knowledgeable team with a versatile number of responsibilities. We drive innovation in this space at the Bank and are currently transforming how the bank leverages DevSecOps both for internal development activities and for external collaboration with Central Banks and peer organizations. We are very much customer focused and maintain a close relationship with the development teams. This helps us understand their desires and needs and keeps the feedback loop tight.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, quick learner, good communicator, and someone who has a passion for solving complex problems.

Perfect candidate:

Experienced DevOps Engineer, creative and flexible individual able to deal with ambiguity, solve problems, willing to evolve with the team.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Help the team managing the DevOps platforms and tools used at the Bank

Create standards for DevSecOps improvements

Support the diverse development teams in implementing DevSecOps best practices

Document and template every aspect of DevSecOps life cycle

Support teams with migrating to cloud-ready platforms

Experiment with new technologies and stay tuned with industry developments

Must haves:

Minimum 5 years' experience in IT (*)

Minimum 3 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer - excellent DevOps knowledge, including best practices, branching strategies, GIT knowledge, and building and maintaining workflows (*)

Experience with GitHub (*)

Scripting experience (TypeScript, PowerShell, Bash, ) (*)

Excellent knowledge of agile methodologies (*)

Strong drive to document everything (*)

Interpersonal skills:

Customer focused, with good communication skills

Fluent in English (oral and writing)

Nice to have:

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field GitHub Enterprise experience

OpenShift/Kubernetes experience

Azure DevOps experience, including user access configuration and YAML pipelines

Docker experience

Knowledge of DevSecOps best practices

Terraform experience

Argo CD experience
