Software Defect-Manager (m/w/d) ADAS (Permanent)
Location: Sindelfingen Country: Germany
For our client, one of the world's leading automotive company based in Stuttgart, we are currently looking for a Software Defect Manager (m/f/d) ADAS in Sindelfingen (hybrid).
Your tasks:
- Work as member of software project management team with a cross-functional defect management group of 5 enthusiastic colleagues who consistently support each other.
- Review and analyze the findings from our test instances to assign them to the right responsible inside our global team.
- Coordinate the technical solutions for our findings with our internal and external partners across the globe.
- Shape and refine the design and implementation of defect management processes.
- Support and mediate teams between project areas in finding solutions.
- track and follow up on the daily defect status with the teams and point out future or unknown problems.
- Report our progress to high management.
Your qualification:
- An university degree or an equivalent degree in software engineering, computer science, automotive engineering or electrical engineering.
- Experience in software defect management/Bug Ticket handling
- Experience in guiding Development Teams through diagnosis and resolution, leveraging expertise and skills across the organization.
- Ability to form working groups and effectively guide individuals and teams towards a solution approach.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Examine trends to identify potential problems and recurring incidents
- Monitor issue queue, update status, and keep stakeholders informed of progress
- Good knowledge of German and English
