IRATA 2/3 Blade Technician (Permanent)

Location: Berlin, Germany Country: Germany Rate: EUR36k - EUR60k per annum

Currently seeking a skilled and experienced Wind Turbine Blade Technician with IRATA Level 2 or Level 3 certification to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing wind turbine blades to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on wind turbine blades according to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform rope access techniques and manoeuvres in adherence to IRATA guidelines for safe and efficient blade access.
  • Identify and report defects, damage, or potential issues affecting turbine performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute maintenance schedules and minimize turbine downtime.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment for blade maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and maintenance logs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • IRATA Level 2 or Level 3 certification with documented experience in rope access techniques.
  • Previous experience in wind turbine blade maintenance and repair is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel to different project sites as required.
