Operations Specialist/DWH/ETL, German Speaking

Working Conditions: Remote working

Client based in Germany

Skills

Experience with operations activities as well as extensive knowledge in the DWH/ETL area

Analytical and abstract thinking skills with high solution competence

Fluency in written and spoken German and English

In-depth knowledge of automation tools such as Automic

ETL development and operational know-how, preferably with IBM DataStage

Knowledge of SQL

Experience in working with UNIX/command line

Analytical thinking skills

Reliability

Good communication skills for status updates and teamwork, also with other teams

Good handling of stressful situations and high resilience

Project Description

  • Ensuring the operational stability, integrity and availability of the internal DWH platform and all associated systems, including IBM IIS and IBM DataStage, and ETL load paths
  • Monitoring the technical behavior and performance of the DWH systems and jobs to identify and resolve operational issues at an early stage.
  • As part of the 24/7 support: 2nd level support and resolution of incidents and problems according to the specified processes

Flexible start date (ie immediate to 3 months notice)
