SAP Responsible Design and Production Specialist/SAP RDP SME

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a SAP RDP SME (SAP Responsible Design and Production Specialist)

As the SAP Responsible Design and Production Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and managing SAP systems and processes to support sustainable design and production initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies for integrating responsible design principles into our clients products and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP modules related to responsible design SAP RDP SME, including skills within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).

Collaborate with product development teams to integrate sustainable design principles into product development processes, considering factors such as materials, energy efficiency, and end-of-life management.

Develop and maintain metrics and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to responsible design and production.

Provide training and support to users of SAP systems, ensuring proper utilization and adherence to responsible design guidelines.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline responsible design and production workflows.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to responsible design and production, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, manufacturing, and sustainability, to align responsible design initiatives with overall business objectives.

Assist our clients business transition to more sustainable products and packaging.

The role is an initial Proof of concept to advise the client on the benefits and key functionality of SAP RDP SME (SAP Responsible Design and Production Specialist) through to implementation & support.

Location Denmark, Copenhagen 
On site & Remote (Hybrid working)

Access enterprise or third-party system data and combine it with information on global regulations to calculate obligations in key markets with the SAP Responsible Design and Production solution.

• Cloud deployment
• Live connectivity to SAP S/4HANA with vast reuse of existing business context, data, and structures
• Ability to calculate and report on EPR fees, plastic taxes, and corporate commitments
• Calculate extended producer responsibility (EPR) obligations, plastic taxes, and corporate commitments to optimise material choices.
• Insights that give strategic decision makers a life cycle view into costs and planetary impact of design choices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience (5 years) working with SAP systems, particularly in modules related to PLM and EHS.
Deep understanding of sustainable design principles and their application in product development and manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Certification in SAP modules related to responsible design and production (eg, SAP Environmental Compliance, SAP S/4HANA for Product Compliance) 
Fluency in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus.
