SAP ERP Classic Project Manager

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a skilled and experienced SAP ERP Classic Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP ERP implementation projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing SAP ERP projects, possess strong leadership and communication skills, and demonstrate a deep understanding of SAP ERP modules and functionalities. The SAP ERP Classic Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring successful project outcomes in alignment with organizational goals.

Client is planning a S4 Hana Bluefield project.
Architecture is being defined and team being built at present.
Must speak fluent Danish & English
Good reporting skills
Good communication skills
Stakeholder management etc.

Onsite 3 to 4 days per week in Denmark (South Jutland).
Expenses per diem paid when on site.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage end-to-end SAP ERP implementation projects, including planning, execution, and delivery phases.
2. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project milestones and financial constraints.
3. Coordinate project teams comprised of internal resources, external consultants, and vendors to achieve project objectives.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish success criteria.
5. Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
6. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely resolution.
7. Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
8. Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
9. Ensure compliance with project management best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.
10. Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP ERP modules and functionalities, providing guidance and support to project team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on SAP ERP implementation projects.
3. Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering SAP ERP projects on time and within budget.
4. Strong understanding of SAP ERP modules, including but not limited to Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, and Customer Relationship Management.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6. Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
7. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
8. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global or multi-national environment.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and effective solutions.
10. Flexibility to travel as required for project meetings, workshops, and site visits.
