Subject Matter Expert (Permanent)

Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £65k - £75k per annum
 

Subject Matter Expert (SME) - SBS Eclipse Underwriting

Based - City of London

Our client is a Lloyds of London syndicate.

Role

As part of a leading Lloyds of London syndicate, the SME (Subject Matter Expert) will work as part of the Application Management team to manage the strategy, changes and BAU support of the SBS Eclipse product. Operate at the Subject Matter Expert within the business and work with third parties in agreeing solutions and roadmaps to support the Business and IT strategies.

Responsibilities

The successful Subject Matter Expert (SME) will include:

Ownership of the application architecture, design and build approaches

Strategy, delivery, performance, capacity modelling, DR Resiliency, Technical Debt

Solution integration upstream and downstream of application/application set

Technical currency and roadmap of applications within area of ownership, working closely with architects and suppliers

Minimal involvement in hands on development, does enough to retain skills

Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of Insurance business

Strong systems analyst skills, including data integration, with ability to convert business requirements into practical solutions

Proven experience in vendor management

SQL, SSRS

SBS Eclipse Underwriting, Pega 7

Salary £65-75k
