As a senior member of the Apprenticeships team, reporting to the Director of Apprenticeships, the post-holder will be the primary contact between three police forces (initially) and the Police Education Consortium (comprised of four universities including Middlesex). They will be responsible for delivering an end-to-end service and relationship management function to police forces contracted to the Police Education Consortium.

The post holder will manage the existing contracts between the Police Education Consortium and the three Police Forces (Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire) and potentially other forces where additional contracts are secured. This role is central to the successful ongoing management of the existing contracts which aims to train over 4,000 police recruits over the next 5-7 years. The post holder will develop, manage and nurture the relationships and interactions with each of the senior implementation leads with each Force. They will understand the various Police Force needs, their culture, technologies, security considerations, resources, training facilities and ways of working. The post-holder will be required to generate and provide timely and accurate reports on the progress of each student police officer throughout the programme. They will also manage the financial processes agreed across the Consortium.

They will work closely with Faculties, Registry, Library and Student Services, Marketing and Finance Teams in Middlesex as well as the equivalent Professional and Academic departments across the other three partner universities. This will involve initiating required developments working with senior management representatives in complex and challenging contexts. They will work to maximise the reputation of the Police Education Consortium nationally and internationally for high quality, innovative policing provision.

With high-level analytical and evaluative skills, the successful applicant will be Ideally educated to degree standard or equivalent, have project management qualifications and experience in managing high profile client accounts.

They will be experienced in working at a senior level with good stakeholder management skills associated with large scale and complex projects.

The post holder will have unsupervised access to police premises and student officers' personal data, appointment will be dependent upon successfully obtaining Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Level 2 clearance.
