Sales Director (Permanent)

This is an opportunity to join an US based company who specialise in Data Warehouse, ETL, BI and Big Data. Our client delivers technology solutions to influence data to enable business insights. By deploying our breakthrough technology innovations, we help our global clients maximise their competitive advantage. Sales Director will be responsible developing a team in UK Market.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Experience in developing start-up businesses
  • Develop new logos through aggressive, intelligent prospecting activities
  • Identify and steward new project opportunities
  • Own the "voice of the client"
  • Follow the Value Proposition and Delivery Methodology in order to successfully win deals against Tier 1 competitors with new clients
  • Work with the Inside Sales Team to develop strategy
  • Works with Delivery team to structure & finalise proposals

Qualifications/Desired Experienced:

  • Comfortable in building their own territories, opening up new markets
  • Prior experience in hunting complex IT projects Data Warehouse, ETL, BI or Big Data
  • Grow business within existing clients as it relates to upselling current and emerging offerings
  • Demonstrated track-record of successful closed deals of engagements with northward of $100K revenue in targeted industries
  • Proven track-record incorporating a formal sales methodology into pursuit and close of Fortune 1000 organisations
  • Exceptional solution sales leadership abilities. This includes setting sales strategy, goal- setting, pipeline management, quality management and performance management
  • Possesses existing relationships with client buyers in areas of software development, data analytics/integration, data warehouse.
