Location: South London - Croydon Country: UK Rate: £575 p/Day

Cloud Consulting have an urgent requirement for an experienced Technical Architect to work on a exciting new project.

Please note, this role falls outside of IR35.

The role will involve:

  • Technical Architect responsible for the interface components written by the client (Design, NFRs, etc.)
  • Solution Design (mostly enhancements) and interaction/negotiation with the other Lead Architects and the Tech Arch/Lead Devs on the other vendor teams. Generally the Lead Architects present a high-level design that needs a lot of refinement.
  • Helping to triage issues in test and production (a lot of problems come our way initially, because our outcomes are more visible and because we are responsive/helpful)

  • Code reviews (at a high-level), ensuring code quality, etc.
  • Working/collaborating with the BA
  • Documenting agreed solutions and key design decisions (mainly to avoid integration problems and late breaking changes)
  • Attending the weekly chief engineers meeting - which discusses how to improve Case Working/improve the engineering
  • Understanding the tech stack - Kubernetes (using rather than setting up), Docker, Java, Microservices, AWS (S3, SQS, RDS), RDBMS (specifically postgres), Guice

If you are interested, then please forward your C.V ASAP.
